If you are wondering who is behind the scenes, that is me, Max, alongside my dog, Fira.
When I moved from Leeuwarden to The Hague in 2019, I instantly fell in love with our coastline. Whether it is a freezing morning walk in January or clearing my head after a long workday, the dunes feel like a second home.
Growing up on a skateboard, I have always appreciated the heavy cotton tees of skate and surf culture. But looking around local shops, everything represents spots like Bondi, Miami or Byron Bay.
With a North Sea coast as raw, unpredictable, and beautiful as ours, I realized it was time for a streetwear brand we could actually wear with local pride.
The Hague’s coast is all about freedom. It is about taking a breather in the wind or sitting back with a cold beer and your friends at a beach bar. This brand captures that exact feeling, printed on high-quality cotton built to survive the Dutch weather.
You do not need to be a hardcore surfer to wear it, because it is for anyone who appreciates the coastal lifestyle.
I started this as a passion project alongside my regular work, but it is called a Collective for a reason. The vision is to eventually bring local artists and creators on board, shaping a brand that belongs to the entire city.
